Change your physical SIM to a Smart eSIM in SmartNas or at any Smart Shop.​

 

The Smart eSIM allows customers with a device that supports eSIM technology to purchase an eSIM or switch to one from a physical SIM card. It’s perfect for those who need to use more than one phone number, as it makes it easy to switch between SIMs without having to replace them physically. You can also easily change your physical SIM to an eSIM by yourself in the SmartNas app or at any Smart Shop.​

Impossible to lose​ or damage SIM​

Buy a new eSIM​

You can get your preferred eSIM number, as well as register and activate your eSIM, at any Smart Shop. The eSIM is available to both new and existing customers. You must:​

  • Have a phone compatible with eSIM technology.
02

  • Be connected to a Wi-Fi network.
03

  • Have an active number and at least 2 USD main balance. 
  • If you visit a Smart Shop, remember to bring your ID card to register your number.

Change from physical SIM to eSIM​

All Smart subscribers can change from a physical SIM to a Smart eSIM in the SmartNas app or at any Smart Shop. You must:​

  • Have a phone compatible with eSIM technology.
02

  • Be connected to a Wi-Fi network.
03

  • Have an active number and at least 2 USD main balance.
  • If you visit a Smart Shop, remember to bring your ID card to register your number.

Upgrade your eSIM​

Subscribers who activated their eSIM before July 2023 can upgrade to the latest eSIM. The upgraded eSIM can be transferred to another device once. You must:​

  • Have a phone compatible with eSIM technology.​
02

  • Be connected to a Wi-Fi network.
03

  • Have an active number and at least 2 USD main balance. 
  • If you visit a Smart Shop, remember to bring your ID card to register your number.

Migrate eSIM to your phone or other device​

To transfer an eSIM to a phone or another device, subscribers must have the relevant eSIM QR code. The QR code can be accessed in the Smart app or via the email you received when first setting up your Smart eSIM. You must:​

  • Make sure your eSIM is deleted from your old phone or device first.​
02

  • Have a phone compatible with eSIM technology.​
03

  • Be connected to a Wi-Fi network.​
